Austin Snellings was born & raised in Chesterfield, Virginia. After graduating high school Austin went into his apprenticeship program with The Associated Builders & Contractors of Virginia. During that time, he worked full time wiring residential homes, apartments, commercial properties. industrial properties, and commercials security systems. Austin became licensed in the State of Virginia with DPOR.

Austin and his wife moved from Chesterfield, Virginia to Toccoa Georgia in 2020. Their desire to start their own company hit hard. Austin became licensed in the State of Georgia with The Secretary of State, along with local jurisdictions, and have been in business since 2021.

Since then, Snellings Electric has partnered with Generac Power Systems, Champion Power Equipment, & Ring. They are authorized to directly sell, install, and service residential stand-by generators with Generac & Champion, along with all Ring security devices. In both states, They have built reliable & impactful relationships with their customers, partners, and other businesses.

Snellings Electric has sponsored "Buy A Tree Change a Life” , and has also sponsored local baseball, softball, and basketball teams. The company was awarded the Best of Georgia Regional Award in 2023, in the Electrical Service category.
